Lakes Weekend

Every January after exams, the Club hits the Lake District for a weekend of paddling and mayhem!
Staying at a large wooden hut in Spark Bridge, which is just across the road from the loacal pub :), we let the mayhem begin!
Last year included a paddle on the Grade III/IV Levern for the more advanced people, and a trip down the Grade II/III Crake and the upper Levern for all our beginners.
This is THE best way to celebrate finishing your January exams. What could be better than going away for a weekend, cramming into a hut with 70 or so of your best mates, getting drunk at the local, then paddling some top notch Lake District rivers? I cant think of anything...

When: Straight after January exams (ie. January).
