It's an old Methodist church where we keep all the Canoe Club equipment.

Where is the Holt Park swimming pool?

Have a look at this map.

Where is the Canoe Club noticeboard?

Upstairs in the Union building. Take the stairs either side of you immediately as you enter the Union. Go through the double doors at the top, turn right and it's immediately on your right, at about waist height level. Helpfully identified by the "Canoe Club" sign on it.

Where is the Canoe Club pigeonhole?

In the Sports Office. It's the one cunningly marked "Canoe".

Where is the Sports Office?

Also upstairs in the Union. Turn right through the double doors, continue through the next set. Then carry on down the corridor and around the corridor. Through the grey doors and up the stairs.

Can I keep my boat in the Chapel?

Yes, if you're a member of the club. to sort it out.

How much does it cost to be a member of the club?

£30. That includes free use of boats and kit, BCU affiliation, insurance, and some cover for equipment maintenance.

River trips cost up to a tenner to cover petrol, and pool sessions are only a pound fifty. Bargain!

I've never paddled before, can I still come along?

Absolutely. Many of our members join with no experience - we have lots of people ready to teach you the basic skills on the path to Paddling Enlightenment.

I can't swim. Can I still join?

Sadly not. The ability to swim 50m is the only requirement we have.

Ok, if you still have a query, now you can send an email.
